Skymore: 

Bringing sustainability to market. 

About: In 2015, Skymore and a former Managing Director of Urban Outfitters Europe formed a partnership to create a large-scale socially conscious retail company. While it failed to get off the ground, it was a fascinating project.

RESEARCH STRATEGY

I equipped Skymore with market research.

Skymore was to be an apparel and home goods retailer. To the left, you can see an example of my wage research, which I used to advise the company. Most of the market research I did for Skymore is still under a non-disclosure agreement. 

SUSTAINABLE DESIGN

I designed and piloted Skymore's product sustainability and human rights standards.

In the company's early stages, I created and piloted for it a set of farm-to-manufacturing product standards and a correlated supplier vetting system. The norms and procedures were based on best-practice standards and would have enabled the company to source products from leaders in sustainability and human rights.
